This is how the final sunset will look like based on artists' impression.

2008 is coming to an end, very soon. This year, many things have happened. Particularly more towards the end of this year.

Seeing my friends progressing on, from study to graduation and to enlistment. Meeting new people, finding new friends, and losing some friends at the same time. I'm sure many things have changed. Even my own thoughts and principles, my points of view, my everything.

Basically this year is full of crap. The main reason is because I'm serving a whole year of 365 days of national service which I spite the most.
Not all of the days are bad. Well, I've been to many many countries especially for this year.
Firstly is the naval Ex WaveFront which brought me to France, Turkey, Djibouti, India.

Once in a lifetime experience and sponsored trip. My knowledge of this world has greatly been broadened. Followed on by another ex bl which only brings me to Malaysia. Plus my own trip to KL. I've visited a total of 5 countries all in this year.

So then, the first half of this year has already been taken out due to sailing. 100 days away from home. It's really not easy.
2nd half of the year is not that interesting anymore. Everyday is work and more work. More and more short sailings to South China Sea - the sea which I myself hated the most. Basically life really sucks from June to October. Plus all my friends are enlisted, so weekends are really boring.

However, I've picked up quite a number of skills throughout all these experiences. Physical wise I've made improvement. Every Sunday is a basketball game day. Well, I guess my skills have been greatly pushed to a higher level. Honing basketball skills every week does help.
Guitar skills have improved too. More time spent on guitar at home every now and then, making sure I get my chords fingered correctly.

All these comes with a price too. Lately, after doing my finance sum up for this year. I realised I've actually spent alot more this year as compared to last year. Perhaps is the staying out routine I guess. That is just part of the reason. The rest I got to figure out someday.

Yup, that's about all for this year 2008.
More to come, if I can remember it.

Let's Rock!
