finally...
after 3 days of hard work, they finally let us a rest on vesak day! hahaha its really tiring for the past 3 days, many many things to be done. 16km route march, standard obstacle course, battle assault course, blah blah blah. everyday almost end at 11 plus and we have to wake up at 0530.
but it feels great and a sense of achievement to have done all of the major activities. finally it left us with the 24km route march and the graduation parade. i cant wait to pass out from BMTC. though i may feel a little sad cuz i've made some new friends and now i have to be separated again. BMT is really memorable to every single soldier.
we had some visitors from polytechnics and it is really alot of them. LOL almost made my training sch look like a mugger's sch with those pple with civilian clothes. never seen soo many pple in tekong before. LOL we were like cheering and feeling pretty excited as there are visitors coming to see us. ( now i know how it feels like to be locked in the cage of the zoo. and we are like those animals -.- ) ahem...im not referring to anything ah....hahaha
anyway, went out with my frens for supper last night. finally i get to see almost the full team present including kk. its hard to meet up nowadays even for small outings like this. really hard. tried organising stuffs and outings and end up as nothing. quite disappointed la. but really cannot blame anyone cuz they are really busy now. maybe time will drift us apart but i believe that we must take every possible chance to patch it back. dont let time affect our friendship. =) it is more impt than anything else.
well, i've bought the mayday concert tix from jason for half the price. wooo~ gonna watch the concert this coming saturday at expo. first time watching a real live concert band. feels pretty excited. gonna watch it for sure!
hmmm, on the dark side of life, actually most of us feels pretty lonely in the army. cuz we have been minimised on our contact with the outside world. that left us with only our family to interact with. at least those lucky bastards with gfs have some moral support from them. as for the rest like us, lol we are very self-motivating. As for me personally, independence. i do not wanna rely on anyone for those things that i can do myself. no more lazy bum. even for money i also dont wanna ask from my parents anymore. i can earn them myself. perhaps that's how army changes a boy into a man bah.
really have been hoping for more outings for every bookout. i wanna see the changes in the outside world. i dont wanna end up knowing nth. now i felt really lagging in terms of fashion. perhaps i should catch it up someday. xD

just finished watching episode 7 of The Return of the Condor Heroes. Really a nice drama series. hahaha. it was a perfect love story written by jing yong. the love between yang guo and xiao long nu is really strong. pretty touching. lol. how many pple can love the way like them?
anyway, everyone is so busy nowadays. all my friends are in the final yr of poly liao, so it means all the final yr projects, attachments, blah blah things, that take up their schedule. hardly have time to ask them out, even for small meals like supper. lol i think i should wait for sometime before i ask them out again. if not really disappointed to received msges that says that they cannot make it. lols
hmmm, just finished my range last week (finally). lol did pretty bad. =X 24 shots out of 32. my M-16's zeroing went out of point and i have to aim outside the target in order to let my shots land on the target. -.-! the 30plus yr old rifle has started to become unserviceable already. some parts of the rifle are becoming rusty and i almost had to clean and oil my rifle everyday. damn sickening. x( i think i could get a perfect score with SAR-21. LOL with the scope and L.A.D, tat rifle is indeed precise and accurate, and it hits with more power. wahaha just another few more months and i will get that rifle.
tml will be my 16km route march to eastern pier already. with a 20kg FBO(Full Battle Order) on my back, it will be excruciating tiring. i've tried 12km with that, managed to endure through the last 4km. this time round, must put in more effort and metal strength. my commanders told us that its up to the mind whether if we can complete the course. its all up to the mind.
well, im looking forward more to next wed night - book out! hahaha cuz thurs is vesak day. jamming session! wahaha finally can get to jam again after so long. shall see till then. xD

eh? the blog is back to normal liao? wahaha good good! hahaha
booked out 1015 this morning. wooosh!! fresh air from singapore! lala~ went home and slack a while before going to hougang mall to do BIG shopping. lols though the items i bought are pretty small though. =X
yeap, just as wad i was saying, i bought myself an ipod nano! woo! but it cost me almost 300bucks to get it. -.- anyway, also bought my bro his precious router which he has been craving for for the past few months. LOL he was dying to have tat router installed so that he can access internet from his laptop. also bought 2 michael jordan t-shirts which was on offer. haha damn cool looking esp with my hair presently. =D just got my hair shaved again 4 days ago. almost caught a cold..brrr....=SSS
well, at the evening managed to catch my fav show - shen diao xia lu. i like the female lead character very much. eh eh? aiya not so surprising la, actually i've been liking her since her first wu xia drama serial which was tian long ba bu. eh yo? b yo? c yo?
after which headed down to andy's house to catch the FA cup Finals held at the new Wembley Stadium in London. Chelsea against Manchester United. urgh, though man utd had won the champions for EPL, unfortunately lady luck didnt manage to be on their side this time round. tat drogba managed to pop in tat delicious goal at the 125th min. damn! i was really disappointed cuz i expected man utd to win along with many others. haiz, take it as a lesson. we can win it again next season!
have been also thinking much about my future these few days. hmmm pretty blank. up till now, i still haven get a clear view of my future. a band with B³? it will sound great but we have to work really hard for it. im sure we can do it! well, the other plan i have is to chiong for OCS, which is really hard cuz my company along with many other companies have sooo many recruits having the same aim of path as me. anyway, sispec is also a good choice. =D
also heard that some pple have broken up with their gfs cuz of army life. i've nth much to comment on this anyway. but hope they can get it through and move on with their lives. ur future is more impt. cherish it. =)
hmmm the book in is getting nearer and nearer. life in BMT is going to end soon. the real challenge of life is crawling nearer and nearer....
ps: i wanna do really well for the live range shooting next week =D

Duty, Honour, Country....
i think there's some problem with the blogger. damn. lucky they still gimme this small box to type on. -.-
okay i will be booking back in in a few hours time. Time really flies, especially when u are out of the camp. everything seems really fast. its not like the time we had in tekong which was absolutely slowwwww. horrible heat waves everyday. many have suffered from heat rashes and heat exhaustion. however its part of army life which i had to go thru over this 2 yrs.
to be honest, i dislike army life just as much as i dislike war. but i have to learn to like it. cuz whether i like it or not im gonna go thru this shit for 2 yrs. my CO told us its about choices. i kinda agreed. cuz i can choose not to serve my country and migrate. but why do i serve? cuz i wanna be part of this small island. my family stays here, my frens stays here. how can i abandon them just for the sake of having good life out there?singapore needs us, and i feel we should give ourselves to her. its our duty to protect our own country. perhaps u can think that this is just another politically correct model answer. but its true.
nobody understands our feelings. unless they have really been thru it, they wont know how we feel exactly inside. many others take it for granted that we have such a powerful armed forces. its all our hard work. we do not need compliments or praises. all we want is appreciation. it will make our sacrifices worthwhile.
ps: Manchester United are champions for EPL 2006/2007. woots!~ (actually i knew this when i was in the field camp =P)

okay im back to singapore!after 2 gruelling weeks in army. the worst 2 week ever. had a 6 day field camp which wears me entirely out. spending 6 days outfield doing trainin without bathing and proper brushing of teeth makes me feel sick all along. but i endured through. tougher now. hahahaha
anyway, had a nice pizza feast with my best frens at kovan. wowowow delicious pizzas. miss them lots man. hahaha 6days have been chewing on the disgusting combat rations which tastes odd. completely ODD. its like asking u to eat the combination of soil and water. =S disgusted. and im gonna continue eating those stuffs some 3 days next week cuz i had a SIT test. damn..but i hope i can do well enough for OCS. wahaha
hmmm, realised that time now is really very very very impt to me. i had really few time to spent with my family and frens. felt really left out all along since the day i turned into a soldier. trying my best to keep myself updated on the things that are going on at home when i was away. hope u guys wont forget me as a fren. haha i shouldn't have said this cuz i have complete trust in u guys. =X anyway, time flies. a month has passed. i've spent a month as a soldier. another 1yr 9 months to go! jia you!
