woah, wad a great day today! haha, though i met some setbacks on the way....however today was pretty great and fun.
yup, went to kbox today! after a long period of waiting, finally time has come....
this time round more pple though...(as expected by me initially =O) however, many fall out before the activity starts, which dampened me quite alot. lol didnt expect this man. anyway, for those who have more impt stuffs i dont blame u. really. im not trying to be sarcastic.
okay, the fun part about today is that i feel that i've improved my singing! wahahaha..after much training i've put in..bears some fruit liao. =D feel very accomplished. and i will keep on improving. wahaha and anyway, today has been fun, and i feel that i've successfully plan out a big activity for everyone, though i didnt manage to get a full turn out. haha
hmmm, tml got somemore activity liao. hohoho i wish i had more time out with my friends though. but, still have to cherish the times we had bah. even though we are busy, its a good thing that we remain contactable and come out for gatherings. xD

POC loh! lols...
today has been quite an unlucky day for me..everything doesnt happen smoothly at all. first thing in the morning when we wake up for early morning exercise, we were made to run extra 3 rounds instead of usual 3 rounds. wad the hell...so bad luck that we met a POOD that is damn bullshit.
the next thing was the morning Colours. although the routine orders didnt state got colours, however since we had our passing out ceremony, its been a tradition of not going for it. but by the time when we received news that we need to fall in for inspection, its already late! and we were being punished for that, maybe by signing extra duty..damn sian..
the series of bad luck runs even after my POC, my book out time is actually around 1pm. however they drag and drag dono for wad matters, until its 4pm liao. zzzz wad the heck...
and here im home..the bad luck still haven end. -.- i wanted to play cs to vent my stress, and the game was down. wad the hell! and i tried reparing the software..but its useless..damn..and now my msn has given me even more trouble..urgh..
anyway, hope this long running streak of bad luck will end now! right now...

today has been a very boring day for me. lols stayed home all day. hmmm couldn't find anything productive to do. haha have been practising drumming but my hands are kinda blistered and sore after prolong hours of whacking. =S
by the way, i got posted to the weapons system side of the navy ( which means im going on board ship ). this side of the ship has nv been good throughout history, as from what i heard from the seniors. =X cant believe my luck is so bad. my posting has nv been my first choice before, ever since PSLE. after PSLE, went to zhss (2nd choice) and after o levels, went to srjc (5th choice), and after BMT went to Navy (not in my choice), and after JRC course went to OEW (i never even tot of that!). see..how bad my luck is with posting. lol cant help it.
anyway, the job as a weapon system operator is never easy. u have many roles to play besides shooting bullets and missiles, i shall not elaborate further. lol however its really impt tat's all.
hmmm, everytime i stone at my room and do nth, i tend to think. think through many things. actually being a sensitive person has its pros and cons. as for me, im quite sensitive towards other pple, not towards myself. i feel that i care too much for other pple, and that makes pple think im quite kaypo at times. lol wonder if it is good or bad. i am just trying to help, not to the extent of intruding the privacy. =X it feels bad to be mistaken. nonetheless i still carry on concerning about my friends. lol
as this period of time in the year 2007, time is very short and hectic. i couldn't as much time with my friends as last yr, when we can have outings often. now, im in NS, my friends are 3rd yr poly students, life filled with projects and stuffs. time clashes alot alot. when im free, they are busy and vice versa. quite hard to plan stuffs though. but if we dont get in contact more often, wad im afraid is that we might drift away, just like any other normal friends i had. lost contact. =X
hence, there's this need for me to plan activities when they are free. lol to maintain our friendship and brotherhood. hope god will give us more time bah. 24 hrs a day is really short. 365 days in a year is even shorter. time passes so fast that i cant even catch up. so to my dear friends, dont get too stressed out. its natural and part of life. at this stage of life, time passes real quickly. so, cherish the times u had with ur family and friends bah. i shall end here. =)

my passion with drums....
since the whole day that my drumsticks have been accompanying me throughout, i shall say my story about my passion with drums.
hmmm, it started off when i was pretty 'young' around the age of 14. since then, whenver i listen to whatever music, especially rock music, the drumming part has always attracted most of my attention. beats and rhythms has caught my heart. this developed the little flame of drumming in my heart. the flame of passion.
in order to satisfy my temtations of whacking things when listening to music, i actually took every single 'stick-like' stuffs ranging from pens and rulers to chopsticks. anything that look like a stick will be my 'drumsticks'. its really funny that time cuz my classmates will look at me and give me the weirdo look - ' wad the heck is this idiot doing with 2 chopsticks and hitting the bowls?'
well, at home i will take this pair of 'long' ice-cream sticks to play my way thru the songs that i heard. unexplained. maybe the fire inside me has grew hotter and bigger as time goes by. before i got my 1st set of drumstick from wx, which is around last yr, i have been using this pair of ice-cream sticks as the only pair of drumsticks. as for now, im using the pair that jason gave me as a bday present. really like it. =D
a day ago, bcube settle down to discuss seriously about forming a band. i was voted to be the drummer. so from now onwards, no more playing around liao. i have to really devote myself to drumming and improve my skills, be it speed or accuracy. so let my passion drive me through. keep on improving, keep on moving ahead. no more turning back, just push forward~!

today had been quite a great day for me. cuz today started off good as i get to be dismissed early from the ritz-carlton thingy. and guess what, i actually met wy karen and mitch on my way home! hahaha..wad a small world..
yeah, after meeting them we went to the 'chocz' to have our choco meal. wowow! nice choco dips though its only made up of very cheap ingredients. perhaps is the choco that is expensive cuz its really nice tasting and soothing. during the meal, wy actually exposed his 'secret' which has been hidden in him for quite some days. LOL he actually passed his driving test! damn..to think he could bluff us with this..hahaha.after the session, karen and mitch had to leave early for studies. left me and wy..
so wy tot of going my house since he is free and has no where to go. and we took the mrt and i tot of retrieving my a lvl cert since it has been rotting in srjc for ages. LOL yeah i went back to srjc indeed and realised that it has changed alot recently. damn when we were around for that 2 yrs, nothing as changed. until now, when we left, they started to renovate. -.-
so after staying for a while at my house, we headed down to hougang mall to have our meeting. as usual, some pple are late for the meeting. hahaha well, i got used to it long ago. =P so doesnt matter. anyway, we have already achieved our agenda today. yeap, we discussed about our important stuffs. this actually brings me to a higher point and passion for drums. wahaha from now onwards im really gonna put in 110% instead of the usual 100% in drumming liao. hope i can be able to reach pro level as soon as possible. xD
oh yea, i have to go write the lyrics for a song now..tata~~

im seriously bored today. hahaha stayed home all day becuz of some visiting. -.-
planning kbox for bcube outing but seemed quite stress as the schedules are not matching. hmmm this is one of the hardest activity that i've ever organised. well, it trains me up to be a better organizer next time. =D
going to book in later le. hope this will be the last book in bah. hahaha i dont wanna go back to that place anymore.
ps: Man Utd better win! man city is nothing! hahaha

today went out to watch 'Secret' with my gang as usual. LOL yup, the movie was pretty great, and i can see quite alot of girls crying in the movie. =X too emo liao. hahaha though it doesn't really affect me much cuz though i like piano...hmmm i like drums more. xD!
so tat's about it for the movie, cant say anything more or those who haven't watch the movie might kill me. i can spoil the movie very well u know? LOL!
after the movie..surprisingly saw ry and karen waiting outside. omg. they have been waiting for like a couple of hours plus. =XX haha and then head down to the city area on foot for 'window shopping'. haha actually we only go to one particular shop at plaza sing..cuz basically we have nth much to shop except musical instruments. as we inspire to become a superband, we must firstly find our 'weapons' which is our instruments. haha saw a elec. drum set yamaha brand which cost $1319. damn ex. T.T must save up for it liao.
after taking so long in the shop i only bought a guitar pick which costs 60 cents. LOL! well, at least i spent right? hahaha..then we headed down to esplanade to view fireworks liao. as usual, damn hell lot of pple and this time was worse. saturday nights always super packed. haha nonetheless the fireworks was great today as compared to yesterday. though without the ultimate climax like yesterday it was great! worth waiting. xD
yup overall today was great! had much fun today! haha hmmm next time will be kbox liao. ahhh, my turn to become organiser. =X

wahaha..another 5 days more to POC! wooo~ but dono where i will be posted to yet. hmmm hope i dont kena ship bah. wont have much time outside. hahaha. see first. =P
today did my 1st time ever training on the real chemical defence gas chamber confidence assessment. this training was really once in a lifetime experience. they trap us inside the gas chamber. the worst thing was that we are expected to take out our mask and stay inside as long as possible. however haven even reach 5 sec, i already rush out of the room. LOL seriously my tears are uncontrollably flowing down my eyes and im sniffing away for oxygen. tough indeed. haha
anyway, today after booking out chiong my way down to city hall to meet my gang. LOL yeah we met today to watch the firework performance by some pple from other countries who wanna come over to singapore to impress us how good their fireworks are. indeed after a long time spent waiting at the side with so many pple squeezing together, the result indeed didnt disappoint me. it was a well displayed firework with lots of different patters of explosion in the sky - that's wad they call 'fireworks'. =P
yeah, tml will be movie day! hahaha see how jay chou perfom in the movie 'Secret' bah. xP

wahaha! just came home from andy's place. played mahjong for the night as usual with wx andy and jin. hahaha but this time round i kinda owned everyone. eh eh? LOL
yeah today was pretty nice as i went with my family to hougang mall for lunch. indeed hougang mall has changed alot esp the 4th level. it was actually a gaming centre at first however after renovation, it became a food court with nice and delicious dishes. hahaha, the 5th level kopitiam have to crack their brains on how to attract more customers already. hohoho, i dont think they will last long though. =X
during the mahjong session i cant stop laughing. damn. LOL for no reason that i can laugh so long. hahaha perhaps the song is the reason. =P anyway, have to book in for guard duty tml liao. zzz! shall update again next week. xD!~

just finished my fire-fighting course today. feeling damn shagged. =X after 3 days of fire-fighting, i realised how tough those guys in SCDF are. i actually thought that being in the SCDF is a slack vocation but it seems otherwise. carrying a tank of oxygen weighing 18+kg and running around isn't going to be fun.
yeah, indeed i've been thru all these during the past 3 days. haha and im really happy to get a cert for this fire-fighting course. hardwork has finally paid off. xD proud to have that piece of certificate. after being in the fire cage, flaming at 500 degrees celcius and donning a full fire fighting gear which the fire jacket is as thick as putting a pile of papers together, holding a nozzle weighing 10kg with a powerful jet spray, fighting fire is not easy at all. =P
ahh, another 1 day i have to book in again. damn, blame it on my bad luck. last month, supposedly done 2 weekend guard duties will excuse us with another weekend this month, however it seems otherwise. end up with another sunday doing guard duty. zzz! okay, hope tml will be a better day. xD

Happy National Day!42 yrs of Independence..
yeah, today went out for jamming! hahaha..first time jamming ah..quite fun, lols esp with wy around. LOL played 2 songs, heng xing de heng xin and rewrite. though i didnt perfect the drums, but lucky it didnt affect the whole song. xD
after jamming, i had to part my friends cuz i had to reach home to prepare for book in at 10pm. holy shit, fancy booking in tonight when everybody else had a day off.-.-
was actualy going to see fireworks with them but had to call it off. =S
on the bus, was thinking through lots of things. if only everyday is like this, how nice will it be? if only everyday we can put down our work and go out to have fun, it will be the nicest thing on this planet. haha well too bad, we had to work and study for our future. we still have mouths to feed, and even more mouths to feed in the future. so, i only got to keep those fun and happy moments in my heart, in my memory...
ps: 8 days more to the end of this freaking JRC course. xD

im so happy today! hahaha today's a nice day for me. went out with jin, rm, andy, tiang, ry and karen to the settler's cafe. it's a pretty nice place i must say as it has alot of different types of games for us to choose from and quite a number of them are pretty fun. the fish and chips was great and i think if i have the money i will go there more often. LOL
happen to see joyce and her bunch of friends. lols wad a coincidence. this world is so small. anyway, we all had fun there. i was laughing non stop for the 2 hrs when we played a game called 'snorta'. damn fun. we were basically calling each other by the animals that we picked randomly. and we were making animal calls throughout cuz we were not allowed to call names and only to make sounds. this game was great!
after the lunch at settlers, we headed down to mitch's house from clark quay by BUS. omg. i dont really like this bus journey. its very long and tiring. making me kinda sick. =X anyway, this is the price to pay when our pockets are out of money. eh eh? every tap on the ez link machine my heart will ache. T.T transport fares nowadays are pretty horrible. =X
actually, instead of giving mitch a peaceful time, i felt pretty guilty as we are quite noisy there. ahh...we've got to apologise for that. get well soon~!
another few hours i will be booking again le. this time will be the 3rd last time of booking in. another 3 weeks to go~! endure...

ahhh..finally back! yesh~ the light of the long weekend has shone already! wahahaha quite excited la. after so long of shits which burned almost half of my weekends every week....now is the time to enjoy my time outside~ xD
hmmm just chiong home today after my book out, in a totally tanned condition. my whole body was tanned completely. =X have been playing soccer for 4 hrs under the hot sun. LOL baking hot. however it didnt really dampen our spirits as we hardly have time for sports during training. this time was an exception. =D
i just had some doubts on some issues. Is life better in Navy or the outside world? from our point of view, the reason why we always try to book out as soon as possible is because we wanted to enjoy Freedom in the outside world. however the outside world doesnt seem as peaceful and orderly as it is inside the Navy. so i got confused as to whether to agree with the fact that life in Navy is indeed good or not. perhaps to many others who are currently serving in the much more demanding Army that life in Navy is indeed wonderful.
anyway, sunday will be going to settlers liao..wahaha haven been there before..think that place should be nice bah. x)
